He's energetic. They called Pete Rose 'Charlie Hustle' on the baseball field - - I think of Eric as the same type of person. Watching Eric go about his day will wear you out! When subs aren't immediately available to take care of some small task, Eric will not hesitate to get out his own tools and do the work himself.

He doesn't 'assume' things. He sets out to learn the clients' expectations and the architect's expectations for the project. When he's not sure of something, he asks questions. This is so important.

He's fair. When things go wrong (and something is bound to go wrong in the imperfect world of a construction site), his first priority is to make it right. He knows that pointing fingers doesn't solve the problem.

The main thing we liked was that he was very organized and stays on top of things -like the subcontractors – he has a good relationship with them. We gutted our kitchen to the studs. He did 3 bathrooms, garage doors and a lot of trim and electrical work plus extensive cove molding. The quality was excellent. I don’t think I ever had to call him back. The garage door broke and he was there in 10 minutes – very responsive. He holds himself accountable. His subs were great: electrician, painter, plumber, drywall. I can still remember his subs by name. That’s how connected you get as a homeowner."

He’s done projects from refinishing hardwood floors from water leak damage to completely gutting the room down to the studs for a bathroom renovation. His subs have such a great respect for him and have worked for him so many years. I have no qualms about letting any one of them in my home, even when I am not there. I don’t even blink.

He’s done 4 or 5 projects for us. He doesn’t just do the work you ask him to do. He even goes beyond the scope of the project if he sees something that needs to be corrected. When he was doing a small project, he saw we had no insulation over a huge part of our house and had it corrected. He could have just done his job and not said anything. Our a/c bills are going to drop dramatically.

He’s there to help with your whole home. One call to him and he’s got the a/c guy and insulation guy out. He doesn’t care just for the project, he cares for the whole home and how the family lives in it.

He just did something else for us. It’s fabulous. People are amazed when they see the transformation."
